a new venture

I've been doing a lot of thinking the past couple of days about how I'm going to live my life here and how I'm going to make a living. I wanted to balance what I really want to do and what is sensible so after much thinking and lots of input from some people whos opinions I value I decided the best thing was to open a school of language and dance. There seems to be a lot of demand here for Spanish and English lessons, I have the contacts to find teachers of Spanish for the tourist season and I can do a 4 week TEFL course and teach English when there are no tourists. As well as that I can teach salsa to beginners on my own without the necessity for a regular dance partner. I can then look for premises for a salsa bar at my leisure while earning a living from the school.
Once the decision was made it was back to the search for premises and I found the perfect place in Avenida Pardo, not far from Qoricancha. I fell in love with the apartment straight away and I decided to take it in about 10 minutes.
For now I'll live there and use one room for a language class and one for a dance studio. Later when it expands I may have to move out or find other premises for the school but for now it will serve as home and work.
When I woke up I had a good feeling and told Rosa that today would be a good day and so it has been :)
I sign the papers tomorrow and move in on Friday. I have high hopes for this :)
