leaving parties

I'll be saying goodbye to my Spice friends at the Dragon Boat Party / Racing on 6th / 7th August.
My real leaving celebration will be on 15th August at Barracuda. This is where I learned salsa and where I have my happiest memories of Birmingham. Val and Henry started me on a wonderful road ably aided and abetted by Wilson, Paul and the others from Salsa King. I'm planning on doing lots of classes in Peru and will do my best to make them proud.
See you there - I'll be the one dancing till I drop :)

booked on a language course here http://www.languagesabroad.co.uk/peru.html that should give me a start but the best way to learn would be to make friends and I'll be working on that as soon as I arrive.

the 3rd step

I've booked my flights, I'm leaving from Birmingham at 6.20am on 17th August and coming back for Christmas on 17th December. That means that I can do the Dragon Boat racing and the Newcastle weekend - should be quite a send off, it's looking pretty special already :)
